Still no MOE letter yet
I really thought it should have came by now. Its hard seeing others that had their first trip around the same time as us move forward so much quicker. I'm trying not to take it as a bad sign and be patient, but its difficult. Just wish I could tell our little miss that we're hurrying and to hang in there! I wonder how long it took others to get the ministry release letter?

Hi,
I'm from New Zealand so the process could be different, but we didn't hear about our MOE letter until a week before we got the court date. However we had other friends, we all adopted from Vladivostk, who got their MOE letter after about 6 weeks. I don't think there is a set time, like all things to do with Russian adoption, and things seem to differ even within one region.
I hope you hear from the MOE soon.

Hey guys we traveled on trip 1 in the 1st week of May, got our letter in about 5 weeks. We just got our trip 2 travel date today for 10-9 court date. However another couple having court on the same day just traveled on trip one in August...I guess it really varies.
It probably varies by agency, but we were told that our dossier 2 would be submitted once Vlad recieved the MOE letter from Moscow. Once that is received in Vald, our dossier 2 is presented to the judge and a court date issued immediately OR they may request additional documents. It can also take a while to travel between Moscow and Vlad. I hope this helps! Your dossier should be in Russia about now:)
