San Antonio Riverwalk

Anna just LOVES swimming and jumping in the pool

I keep thinking I should probably stop this blog. I keep passing up many milestones that I should be posting about. Two days ago marked 2 years since we met Anna. I can't believe its been that long, I guess mainly because we haven't even had her home a year yet. Its time again for our second Post Placement Report. Hopefully our agency will get out here in the next few weeks. I'm having to bug them.

At the beginning of the month we flew to Texas and visited with extended family in San Antonio for a week. We had the BEST time and the kids did amazing. After returning from Russia, a few hours in the air just seemed like a piece of cake. We'll definitely have to do it again soon and keep in touch with all the fabulous family we have there.

I will just leave with a slew of pictures from the last month. We are enjoying our summer. Its going to be very hard to switch gears in 2 weeks when the kids start school.

Love the picture spread!! And I understand a desire to stop blogging- if it's a chore, then it's no fun. But I would encourage you not to stop- even if you only update twice a year, it gives others on the journey and those researching a place to see a complete road and what happens after the road finally brings you back home. Regardless, enjoy the last few weeks of summer!!! And then enjoy the beginning of a new school year! ;o)

What a big girl! I love the pictures from her birthday. As for the blog, I've kept mine going, although I'm not sure who checks it. But I hope that by keeping it up I might help some other families who are going through the adoption process. Always on the lookout for new friends. And perhaps it might roll into the second adoption blog.. We'll see...

Anna's whole face lights up when she smiles! So adorable! Great pictures! I would miss checking in on you guys if you didn't blog anymore. But I totally get the chore of it. I look at it as a documentation of our lives. I don't have time to scrapbook anymore, so this records some memories for us.
