We finally made our first trip to Disneyland and Anna loved it! I wasn't sure if she'd be scared of the darker rides, but she just loved it all. We've went twice and both times were pretty crowded due to Christmas break, so Thursday while Dylan is in school, just Anna and I are going to head down by ourselves. It is just so fun experiencing it all again with her and seeing it all thru her eyes for the first time. Its one of the things I've dreamed about and its as wonderful as I'd hoped.
Her speach continues to improves in leaps and bounds and she's eating like a champ......but no, she's still tiny tiny and not gaining much weight if any. Her eyes look fabulous. There is still touches of red around her irises even about 5 weeks later but that continues to go away. The tissue did slowly disappear that I was worried about but it took awhile.
This weekend my hubby actually surprised me with a little romantic getaway to dinner with friends and a hotel at the beach so my mom stayed the night with the kids. I was a bit nervous but it went really well and I enjoyed the break I'll admit. I even treated myself to a mani/pedi before we left so I've really been feeling human again lately :o) Now lets see if I can start doing some exercise again on some sort of regular basis.....probably won't get that far!

Great pictures! We are headed to Disney World this spring. I'm a little nervous for the plane ride and all the commotion. Glad Anna is thriving!
I wouldn't worry about the weight thing. My Bio son eats like a horse and never gains weight. He's 2 and a half and only weights 26 lbs! Good metabolism! Wish I still had that. She looks like she is doing so well!
Wow 2x to Disneyland, and a 3rd coming. I'm jealous. Ava loved Disney World, everything about it, she is definately my daughter! Anna looks great. I'm jealous a mani and a pedi, Wow thats like heaven on earth.
