Is fall finally here?

Of course I wish that were the Russian snow he is playing in. This So. Cal girl is really ready to brave a Russian winter to bring our little miss home. But, I'm afraid we will have to stay put for a few more months. Our delay should be resolved at the end of the month, now I'm afraid our updated I600a won't be in Russia in time to get papers submitted to the courts at the first of December. I'm trying to light a fire under our agency to get things done. It better work. We've done everything we need to do. I have no idea how long it takes USCIS to extend the I600a after getting everything.....?? Its really frustrating just how long everything takes. Then, updated docs will need to head to Sacramento for apostilles before heading off to Russia for translation, and only THEN ready to be submitted to the courts. Big sigh......I just want her home.

Super cute pics ~ your son is so handsome!

Yes, SoCal is WAY too warm right now. It doesn't feel like the holidays at all. When I was in Nashville last week it was so beautiful to see all the leaves changing colors and breath in that crisp cool air. Although I'm not saying I want to move :)

I hope you are able to get to Vlad ASAP and enjoy the snowy weather with your little girl! Thinking of you!

If patience really is a virtue, then you and I have GOT to be the most virtuous people on the planet!!! Hang in there!!!

Cute pictures!!! I am with you as well with the length of time things take!!! We are holding our breath too to see if we can get a quick court date and get back to Vlad in December. Their closure for their holidays might be quite messy but we'll see!!!

Hang in there!!! We can't wait to be in the snow too!

My agency had mentioned at one point there was a way to expedite the I600A if necessary. Stay on your agency about it! Unleash some So Cal strawberry blonde on them!!!
