Docs left today for Russia

Finally everything got notarized and apostilled and is now on its way to Russia. Once there they can be submitted to the courts FINALLY. As docs can only get submitted to courts on Tuesdays for some reason I'm guessing maybe about 2-3 weeks before they are in the system. Then who knows, either a court date can be assigned (best possible outcome) or the judge will ask for more docs (most likely outcome). I haven't heard yet if our agency has the release letter yet from MOE but I'm hoping they will by the time our docs get there. I'll be praying we somehow get a sympathetic judge who will see how long we've waited already and will try to get us back there quickly........a girl can dream!!!

I can't believe its been 8 months now since we saw her and she is 20 months old. I remember it all like it was yesterday, but it also feels like it was a lifetime ago.

Shelly,
I was given your blog address by Jennifer (I believe she teaches where your daughter goes to school). We completed our first adoptions together about one year ago. We are now beginning the process for the second time.

My heart was aching as I read through your blog. You guys are well over due for some great news. It is possible the judge will not ask for anything to be redone - we were fortunate to have that be the case the first go around. Never stop believing!

C'mon court date. Only good news allowed now for you. You will have a court date in hand, a HUGE smile on your face and be "back in the USSR" (or something like that). Your wait is over, please pass go and collect $200. I am in the positive thinking camp and will try to will you back there myself :) All the best - and like I said, C'mon court date!
