Waiting Waiting just keep Waiting

I called the FBI again to check on our clearances and to make sure they had our Fed Ex acct # in the system to overnight them back. Yes, they have the Fed Ex acct and they will be sent out in 1 week.....sigh. I really thought we might have them in the next few days. No luck. I'm not guessing that the US side of our paperwork will be in Russia ready to go before our agency gets the Russian MOE release letter. Its looking like all my worrying about what to wear for a Russian winter was all for nothing. I never would have dreamed we'd be heading back in the spring, possibly the summer!

I got the cutest little pink baskets for the shelves in her room. Before I head out and start shopping for toys to fill them with, I am heading to the attic to finally look thru all the baby toys of Dylan's I saved. I know there are several bins and probably plenty to keep the little miss busy for a while. Of course on top you'll see the precious baby doll set I got for her that matched her room so I couldn't pass it up! I can so picture her pushing her little baby stroller thru the house.

Other than that, I just continue to keep busy. I enjoyed a nice girl's day at Disneyland with Madison and her friend. The weather was gorgeous (pretty sure Disney has a contract with the weather gods!!) and we really enjoyed Captain EO, the 3D Michael Jackson movie that they spruced up and brought back from 1986 (and I'm not even a big MJ fan)!!

S - I passed along your blog to my friend Sara last night who would LOVE to talk with you. She too had a HORRIBLE wait.

I feel for you girl -- trust me, you'll be there soon!!

Pretty baskets! Sorry you don't have your prints back yet. I know how consuming all this waiting can be.

Those shelves with the baskets look adorable! Waiting is driving me to the brink ~ and I know you have waited so much longer. I am convinced we will be back in Vlad together!

Hi Shelley and Steve,
I found your post on Jeannie and Freddy's blog. I met them in Moscow as they were there for their court date with Hope, and I was their to meet my new son, TJ (Toddler Jones) who actually turned out to be 10 months!
Anyway, I'm in the same boat as you as I submitted my fingerprints upon my return in mid February and I can't believe it's 13 weeks to wait. I didn't even check before I sent to do Fed Ex. When I called, they check the database to no avail and they told me they receive 100,000 applications per week so there is no way to check where my package even is. This is my third time requesting prints and it's always been 3 weeks. I even contacted a friend who previously worked at the bureau and he told me he can't even help facilitate...you have to follow the process. It's such a helpless feeling :(.

I wish you both the best and thinking good thoughts for you.
